Welcome to the Ponthir School of Tae Kwon-Do run by Mr Peter James, 4th Degree Black Belt, with over 15 years experience.
For over 10 years now, Ponthir Tae Kwon-Do has been based in Ponthir and Caerleon in the South Wales area, and is closely affiliated with the Newport School of Tae Kwon-Do.
Ponthir Tae Kwon-Do is a member of the Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain (TAGB), which is the largest single body in the United Kingdom with over 22,00 members.
The TAGB is a member of Tae Kwon-Do International which is a Worldwide body with representation in every continent of the globe.
The TAGB is a founder member of the British Tae Kwon-Do Council (BTC) which incorporates 15 different organisations and has a membership of over 44,000. The BTC is the only body recognised by the British Sports Council.
